I’ve had this bike for 3 weeks and love it. Because it tops out at 20 mph, there’s less concern about our teenage son getting himself hurt or in trouble on it. The seat is very comfortable. This bike isn’t a commuter vehicle. It’s a fun and comfortable bike to ride around town or to and from school.
This e-bike performed better than I thought. I think it would be fun to mess around with, but it looks like “you get what you pay for” when it comes to e-bikes
Let me tell you something. When you say its entry level it sounds like you mean "you get what you pay for." If im paying 700+dollars, i better get a working unit. Not something thats gonna stop working after two months. Frankly i cant stand that saying. You get what you pay for. It sounds like an excuse to sell shit products! Not acceptable!
Guessing it's 750w peak output, not a true 750w motor. If you got a 500w motor bike like a lectric, you'd be smoking this thing because you're gonna see ~1000w peak which is most apparent when accelerating from a stop.
Yeah, I think for some of these inexpensive bikes, they're a bit loose with the specs. They don't specify peak or nominal but you're right, it's probably 750w peak. It feels like a 350-500w nominal bike.
Ordered from Amazon they sent me a trash: damaged battery, banded frame. Customer service is terrible asked for return. They offered 50$ gift card for trash and for return they requested 250$ fee for return shipping.
I think even a casual rider woud find it woefully under-powered. My Aventon, yes it was $1500 but can go 27mph and the lowest pedal assist #1 usually is very strong and I rarely use #2 unless a hill.
Yeah it is certainly not a high power bike! I think the target customer for this bike might be a tween or teen that just wants to get around the neighborhood. Or something you can use to take a slow ride to the beach. I don't think I'd want to commute on it :)
I was thinking of buying this e-bike because it’s a class 2 but I’m in 7th grade and 4 foot 8 and I don’t know if I’ll fit comfortably. Please answer this will be a huge help. Thank you
Hi, at the different assist levels does it limit the top speed? I've been looking at this one and thought it would be nice if you could do full throttle but only go to 15 mph most of the time.
One thing I've noticed with cheap ebikes is the frame material is crap metal i shoot it with a niton gun which tells the metal composition never buy the cheap aluminum frame ones there are literally made with the same aluminum as coke cans not good
I am buying this bike for like 10km commutes through the city, i know it is cheaper but its going to be my first ebike so i thought i wouldnt go like 5000 deep yk
And my Aventon is 49 lbs WITH THE BATTERY. Only 40 lbs after removal of battery. 70 lbs is way too heavy to put on a bike rack or even in a truck. Just my opinion.
@HelloRoad thank you so much for your quick reply. I think I will pick this bike up. Unfortunately, I live in Canada, and the bikes are approximately $1099.99 ( 803.29 USD) with the ulock and $999.99 ($730.27 USD) without the lock. Either I I must have missed the sale or inflation has taken its toll on us Canucks. I'll see if there's another sale and get one. Apart from that, the eBike suits you fine ( I love the shoes too) God Bless, Chris
I'm glad these exist for people who need or want them, but no for me personally. If I want another ebike I'd go with more of a normal bicycle type ebike where my own pedaling can help more.
although i like the look of these moped styl e-bikes i´ll bet it must drive horrible. main reason is because you are way too big and can´t really straighten out your leg while pedaling. it basically looks like "Affe aufm Schleifstein" aka "ape on a grindstone" :D

What do you think of this inexpensive e-bike?
Better value than the scooter. 😊

Garbage.
@@JRodriguez-w5hquestion, do you think this can fit two small people, and also is this more powerful than a 500w e-bike despite the 750w motor?
@@Quappp It's 500w/750 peak
Please wear a full face helmet. I nearly destroyed my face a couple of years ago. I don't wish this on anyone. Even good riders fall. Please be safe!
Oh I’m so sorry! I usually wear a full face helmet when I’m riding alongside cars or if I plan to ride quickly.

It did better than I thought it would! But yeah, you have to really manage your expectations with a cheap e-bike

I've been commuting on mine around my region, it's not bad at all
Ive been looking at these for a minute. You convinced me? 😮

Cheap and fun--just like Ethan!!
Awesome clip, Hello Road. I smashed that thumbs up button on your content. Stick to the first-rate work. Eager to see more videos from you.

Order an Amyet G60 from their website. About the same money. Higher power (1000w, 48v, 7 speed Shimano cassette, etc.) and overall far better quality.
@@PaulPaid Thanks . Got Lectric ebike awesome American brand.

Yoooo really good video, thanks 🙏🏽
Why not use it as a commuter, if you ride gently you’ll have no issues with that bike
Personally I like having more storage space and a bit more speed. But it could certainly work

Oh and great video by the way! Very helpful and unbiased

I already made an order from Amazon delivery will be on Aug 12
do you think you can put a passenger on the back?
You probably could but this bike doesn't have a ton of torque, so maybe just a kid or someone light!
And my Aventon is 49 lbs WITH THE BATTERY. Only 40 lbs after removal of battery. 70 lbs is way too heavy to put on a bike rack or even in a truck. Just my opinion.
That's great. Yeah a lot of these fat-tire e-bikes are heavy. I rode one last year that was over 100 lbs!
most fat tires are much heavier
Do you know if the seat is adjustable?
The seat is not adjustable.
would i fit on it? i’m about 5’5 and around 160 lbs
Yep you should fit just fine
Is the price including shipping or no, normally these have like 200-300 $ shipping to make up for the low price
Last I checked shipping was $180 through Amazon. Quite a few e-bikes sold online come with shipping charges
I don't see 3k plus worth of anything on those Super 73 bikes. Prices seem absurd.
Great video, ive bever owned an eBike before. I was wondering about your height and how I would kook on it.
I'm 6' 238lbs
I'm 6'3" and I'd say that's about the max. I think you should be fine!

Its not $530 lol. Its also $180 for shipping. I paid $499 + $180 in shipping plus tax. It was $720.......
So if you hold the plus and minus buttons, what happens? You can't increase the p08 setting!??
The company confirmed that the top speed could not be increased for this bike

Yeah these moped-style e-bikes are not great for pedaling. I think it's assumed these will be primarily used on electric power and rarely pedaled
There’s some $270 mountain bikes on Amazon I was curious on
Could be cheap fun but I'd be concerned about the quality of the components!
Is this good for a heavier person to ride on?
They say the weight limit is 330lbs. Though keep in mind this bike isn't that powerful, so more weight means it likely won't be as quick
What's your recommendations for affordable but quality ebike?
where did you get your shoes?!
They're Asics that I got on Zappos! (not sponsored 😆)
Top speed?
Top speed is 20mph.
